Ben ‘Jack Your Body’ Robinson is an artist, writer and DJ based in Dundee. His mix is an uneasy melange of Chicago house, power electronics, Hi NRG, Italo Disco, Krautrock, dub techno, bleep techno, and some other things that defy any easy categorisation.
The Rope Factory is back this week to go on a journey from Latin, Dub and Jazz through to House, Hip Hop and downtempo electronica.
“Glasgow’s foremost purveyor of drunken disco dance and panglobal pandemonium.” I don’t think we can beat that introduction so we’re not going to try. David has kindly put together a show for us including a lot of dub, some ‘Bollywood reggae’ and a ‘Barby Bonus.’ Top drawer.
The latest instalment of High Jinks features minimal works from Arvo Part and Max Richter, a couple of recent releases from the consistently excellent 12th Isle label and some more favourites including Zoviet France and Andy Stott.
Richard Youngs returns with a selection of 10″ records from his collection including Delia Derbyshire, The Fall, Taming Power and the wonderful Vibracathedral Orchestra.

The fantastically talented composer, performer and sound artist Joe Howe treats us to a 1 hour journey through his collection, taking in Eddie Harris, WaqWaq Kingdom, Foodman, Kamaal Williams, Photay and East Flatbush Project, as well as a couple of tracks of his own.
