Skylarking – Ingrown Records #2

This weeks mix features many new tunes (alongside the usual sample mischief) from the INGROWN Records. A North Carolina based label who I did a mix for a few years ago before they took a hiatus. But they are back with lots of fresh releases and this is my personal selection of some of my favourites, I hope you dig this Skylarking groove.

Skylarking – Stranger Darling

This weeks is an odd one, I started with some long tunes, each over 10 minutes long and as I pondered what might link them together as a mix I went out for the evening to catch a screening of the new film Strange Darling at my local cinema in Arbroath. I enjoyed it so much I managed to cherry picked soundbites from it and scattered them throughout the mix and funnily enough, it worked! So I call this oddball selection Stranger Darlings, I hope you dig it.

Skylarking – Keith Seatman Session Mix

This fresh Skylarking mix features beautiful music by composer Keith Seatman, a musician, DJ and synth owner, collector of records and all manner of old tat, who lives by the sea in Hampshire. With selections from his recently released album A Skip and a Song To See Us Along along with session tracks first recorded in 2017, this is the perfect primer for one of our most original and delightfully nostalgic electronic artists. I offer you an exclusive Keith Seatman Special.
